Your Bespoke Story
How does it work?
Step by Step
Complimentary Design Appointment
At the Birmingham studio or via zoom, this appointment allows us to discuss your ideas and concepts along with inspiration for your piece
Design Options & Quotation
Based on your initial meeting our design team will then create a number of options for you along with quotations to accompany each design option. If your design was decided upon at the initial meeting then this will be a formal creation of the decided upon design, however if there is a number of options to be created there will be a design fee at this point of £100 (to be subtracted from the final cost should you choose to progress with your order. This fee includes up to 2 amendments to designs. This element takes the longest and you should allow for this to take up to 4 weeks dependant on the complexity of your designs.
Once your design is approved we then take a deposit of 50% to secure your creation.
Once your design is finalised and approved by yourselves we then go on to cast your piece in your chosen metal. Beginning the process of your piece coming to life. From this point your piece should be finished within 4 weeks.
Under UK law all precious metal jewellery pieces should be hallmarked at a registered Assay office. All of our pieces are hallmarked at the Birmingham Assay office and bear the Birmingham Anchor alongside the House of Solus mark and the Created in the UK strike assuring you that every element of your piece is UK made.
Stone Setting/ Engraving
Once cast and hallmarked your piece is then sent to our team of setters and engravers to have stones set or to be engraved to your exact specifications. We only work with jewellers who are expert in their craft.
Final Polish & Presentation
Once returned to the studio complete, the piece is then taken to be polished and is presented in its own box along with its requisite paperwork.
You are then contacted to arrange a date to collect your piece from the studio and pay the remaining balance. All pieces can be shipped across the UK and internationally if this is also required.
All of the stones we use are GIA certified and if your piece includes a stone that carries a certificate this will be posted to your home seperately from your piece for security reasons.
Following your collection appointment, please do get in touch to let us know whether #shesaidyes or how your wedding day was. We love pictures that we can share across our social media or display in the studio and of course we look forward to welcoming you back for your next bespoke journey.
